So Sweet Boutique Formal & Prom of Orlando is a walk in shop. Due to the size of our store, we ask that you limit the amount of people to your group to 3 per party. So, you can bring yourself and 2 guest. This is due to the sitting room area's capacity located by the dressing rooms for viewing. Don't worry dads and boyfriends are welcome, we just have a special designated area for them to sit. They will be close by, just not directly in front of the dressing rooms for privacy reasons :).

Please note that we are unable to accommodate large groups of girls without parents, Please limit your group to 3 or less. During peak season, you and your friends maybe asked to share a fitting room as we will have guest with their parents and grandparents and young children we are also trying to accommodate. We appreciate your understanding.

How long does it take to receive my online formal dress order? (pageant dresses, prom dresses, hoco dresses, quince dresses etc)

We have taken the time to keep our inventory as up to date as possible on the website.
All in-stock formal dresses will ship out from our Orlando area shop within 24 business hours with the shipping speed you personally choose at checkout.
All dresses in-stock with the manufacturer will be labeled "Quick Delivery" will be shipped to out us within 3 - 5 business days and can take up to 5 business days to receive due to transit time (Approximately the dress will ship out to you within 1-2 weeks from our hands). Then after inspection, it will ship out to you with the shipping speed you personally choose at checkout. *Please note, you have options to speed up arrival by selecting "direct ship" at checkout which means the dress will be shipped directly to you from the designer / manufacturer bi-passing us. Please note, we are unable to inspect these dresses personally and all sales are final.
All dress that are special ordered (meaning one is not in stock with us or the designer) can take anywhere from 6 - 14 weeks to create and then will ship to us. Then after inspection, it will ship out to you with the shipping speed you personally choose at checkout. *Please note, you have options to speed up arrival by selecting "Rush Cut" and / or "direct ship". "Rush Cut" means they will speed up your order by prioritizing it over standard special orders. "Direct Ship" means the dress will be shipped directly to you from the designer / manufacturer bi-passing us. at checkout which means the dress will be shipped directly to you from the designer / manufacturer. If your event date is less than 16 weeks, we suggest giving us a call to help you select the options you need to ensure your dress arrives in time.

What is the difference between Rush Cut Formal Dress and Direct Ship from the Designers? Should I opt for one?

Direct Shipping: This is when the formal dress manufacturer or designer ships an item directly to you by passing us. Normally when they direct ship an in stock item, on average it will ship out to you within 2 business days and then you can select your transit time to get an approximate date of an arrival. Direct Shipping is a separate charge the manufacturer charges us for shipping a single order. You will still select a shipping rate for the order directly from the manufacturer. Only available for lower 48 US states. Rush Cut: A rush cut is when the manufacturer proceeds to make your item faster than standard turnaround time. They put your order in front of several others to get your item done sooner or have extra staff work extra to create the rush cut items at a faster delivery date. This price is charged by the manufacturer and is not included in the shipping cost. It is approximately $60 to rush cut a dress. Some manufacturers have both rush cuts and direct shipping, while some may only have one and others may not offer it. They are both add-on's to help customers that may need an item faster than standard. Please read the additional information for more information about what the shipping times and options offered by a particular manufacturer.

Is everything offered on So Sweet Boutique website online available in your Orlando area dress storefront?

No, So Sweet Boutique does not have every dress listed on our website in our store as we have limited space. However, we do try to keep over 3000 gowns in-stock at all times to have a large selection of styles and price points. We offer a nice selection in store of designer pageant dresses, prom dresses, cocktail dresses, little girls pageant dresses, evening gowns, fun fashion, party dresses and homecoming gowns. We also have a beautiful and large selection of Quinceanera dresses (we attempt to keep 250-300 quince dresses in-stock at all times).

We do note on the website whether an item is in-stock in our store or available with the designer, that way you know what is available. Please remember, on occasion an item may sell prior to being able to remove it from the website.

Please note we also have over 600 gowns not listed online as they are from our Jenny Rogan Exclusive Collection (created by our store owner, Jenny). We also have their swatch cards to see all the amazing color options you can choose from.

Please note that the prices that are in our boutique are not necessarily equal to the the prices on our website or the internet. We accept orders online strictly for the internet customer who wants the convenience of purchasing their dress or gown on our website without the time and expense we incur when you experience our outstanding full service boutique in our physical storefront (located in a mall). In our boutique we offer a full staff that assists you in checking you in, assisting & fitting you with trying on average 8-10 gowns, returning the dresses back to the dress showroom floor. We also offer services in store strictly for our local customers such as free layaway, steaming of your gown, proper sizing for special ordering and a dress registry program. We also include a professional protective garment bag with all new gown purchases. We are a small family business, we appreciate your understanding of what it takes to keep our store location open to the greater Orlando community! Do I have to pay sales tax?

If you are an internet customer that lives in the state of Florida and purchase on our website or if you make a purchase in our storefront, there is a 7% sales tax county rate that by law we collect. All other states outside of Florida are not charged for sales tax.

Do I have to measure before ordering my formal gown?

Yes! We suggest that you do measure before ordering as formalwear is not like standard clothing. Please keep in mind that alterations are needed 90% of the time as most of the time there is no perfect fit. For more information, please refer to how to measure. So Sweet Boutique is not responsible for alterations.

Do I place my order over the website online or can I call it in?

We have found that it works best for our customers to have them place their orders over the website. This way we have a paper trail of your order. You get a written order copy and so do we! That way we receive the pertinent details about your order such as the size, colors and shipping address all in writing. Please keep a copy of your order, that way if you need to call in, you have a reference number to refer back to. Also, please double check your order prior to confirming the last step.

Do you have a catalog featuring prom dresses, homecoming dresses, quinceanera dresses or pageant dresses?

Since our inventory changes by the designers season to season, we do not have a print catalog. We invite our customers to bookmark our website and visit us frequently to see the latest and freshest fashions in gowns and formal wear.

Do I need a petticoat for my little girls pageant dress?

We always advise our clients it is up to them and their child. We do feel that the little girls pageant dresses fit and hang better if worn with a petticoat. Please pay close attention to the type of petticoat you are ordering as some of them fluff the dress one inch and some up to 4-5 inches.

Return Policy:

It is all sales final both in-store and online. It is industry standard for designer gown boutique's to be all sales final. Our manufacturers do not accept returns or exchanges of any kind. Once you have placed your order, it can not be changed or altered in anyway. All security deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please note in store, you signed a contract at time of check out agreeing to our policies. Internet customers at checkout online, also check a box agreeing to all policies. Please note, that it truly is all sales final, no exceptions. Our designers do not allow any returns of ANY kind. We are a specialty store.

Ordering Multiples of the same formal dress , read this:

To control dye lot variations and availability, please place multiples of the same dress orders at the same time. We cannot guarantee the colors will match if ordered separately. When you place the orders together, we are able to make sure your bridal party has all dresses available, where as if some dresses are ordered later and the dress is no longer available, there is nothing we can do.

Yes, we do ship internationally with the exception of our dresses created by Tony Bowls. We ship by USPS for all international customers, due to customs we can't guarantee wear dates. Please make sure you place your order with plenty of lead time.

You, the customer are responsible for all duties and taxes or any other fees associated with custom clearance into your country. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase. We unfortunately do not have the information on hand and cannot give any estimates for these charges.

When will my credit card be charged?

Since we sell specialty items and many items are ordered for you on your behalf, your credit card will be charged upfront in full. However, if we are unable to make your wear date on the items you purchased we will contact you via email as soon as the manufacturer contacts us. You can either be refunded in full at that time or make another selection.
