You’ll complete a short registration card with information such as your event, event date, school and cell phone number, along with a few additional details that help your personal stylist better assist you.
Our hostess will also give you a quick overview of the boutique layout, explain how the dresses are organized and help you get started.
Your registration card becomes a useful part of your visit. If measurements are needed, your stylist can record them there, and your event date helps her determine whether there may still be enough time to special order a desired style, size or color when available from the designer.

Our gowns are organized by size, with colorways grouped within each size, making it easier to discover everything from the color you came looking for to a completely unexpected gown that catches your eye.

An important part of the So Sweet Boutique experience is that your browsing time is separate from your private styling-suite time. You can check in, explore the collection and make your initial selections before your approximately 45-minute to one-hour VIP styling experience begins.
Our dedicated styling time is structured around the traditional approximately one-hour bridal styling experience while giving our shoppers the added freedom to browse and select gowns before entering their private suite.
Your dedicated styling time begins when your VIP styling suite is ready and you are introduced to your personal stylist—not when you walk through our doors.
Step 3: Your Private VIP Styling Suite & Personal Stylist
When your suite is ready, you’ll be escorted to your private VIP styling suite and introduced to your personal stylist. Your dedicated styling experience is approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
Your stylist respects your privacy and does not enter the dressing room with you. She assists from outside the suite with zipping, lacing, adjusting and properly handling each gown.
This gives you privacy while still providing the benefits of a full-service fitting experience. Our team helps manage the gowns, rehanging and garment care so Mom, Grandma and your guests can relax, enjoy the reveals and focus on sharing the moment with you.
When you decide a gown is not a favorite, simply hand it back to our team. You do not have to rehang, zip, bag or return dresses to the racks.
Our staff handles the go-backs for you—zipping each gown, placing it back into its protective garment bag and returning it to the correct location.

Your personal stylist can help you explore different silhouettes, colors and details based on what you discover you love. We recommend saving your favorites as you shop and allowing a few minutes near the end to revisit your top choices.
What Should I Bring Dress Shopping?
We recommend bringing appropriate undergarments and a pair of heels similar to the height you expect to wear for your event. Having the right foundation and shoe height can help you better visualize the fit, length and finished look of a gown.
We also have styling accessories available in the boutique, including crinolines, hoops, jewelry and tiaras, which can help you see how different gowns may look when styled for your special occasion.

When Is the Best Time to Visit So Sweet Boutique?

We are also a full-service boutique. When it is your turn, you aren’t simply given a dressing room—you receive a private VIP styling suite, dedicated styling time and personal assistance throughout your fitting.
Because of the popularity of our boutique and the personal level of service we provide, a styling waitlist may occasionally develop during busy Prom and Homecoming shopping periods.
Prefer a quieter time to shop? Weekdays generally have shorter waits and, depending on the day and season, may have little to no wait. On weekends, arriving right at opening or approximately one full hour before closing can also be a great time to visit.
Our busiest period is typically limited to a short window during peak Prom season. During approximately two of our busiest weeks, exceptionally high-traffic days can occasionally bring waits of up to approximately two hours.

For qualifying local Prom and Homecoming dresses purchased in-store, So Sweet Boutique will not sell the same dress in the same style and color from our boutique to another girl attending the same school during the same school year. Your stylist personally verifies availability through our Florida school registry before purchase. Our registry is an exclusive benefit of qualifying in-store Prom and Homecoming purchases at So Sweet Boutique.
Shopping Early Gives You More Special-Order Options
If you fall in love with a gown but need another size or color, a special order may be possible depending on designer availability and your event date.
Your stylist can use the event date on your registration card to help determine whether there is enough time to special order the gown you want.
Shopping early is important. Popular gowns, colors and sizes can sell out, and some special orders may take up to approximately 16 weeks to produce or arrive. Special orders require a 50% deposit and are subject to designer availability and timing.
